Calling all Old Berkhamstedians interested in sailing!!
The inaugural event of the OB Sailing Club was held over the weekend of 7/8/9th May. 40 OBs, friends and family took part, chartering yachts for a weekend of cruising around the Solent. We were delighted that Sir Robin Knox-Johnston was able to join the group and skippered one of the yachts.
We joined our crews in Southampton on Friday night. On Saturday we headed out for a days cruising around the Solent, meeting up in the evening to enjoy a good meal and some entertainment at the well known Folly Inn on the Isle of Wight. Sunday we enjoyed more sailing before heading back up to Southampton and then home.
